Happy happy May Day y’all!
It’s International Worker’s Day and all around the world there are countless rallies being held to fight for worker’s rights.
I want to take this day to look at how we’re all workers in so many ways not just in the workplace but in the home, at school, on the streets, we all work and many of us want to work together to have worker’s rights and justice.
Check out these two kick-ass articles about May Day published on rabble.ca
The first is a history of May Day and the second is on how immigrant rights ARE worker’s rights
If you live in Toronto, there’s a rally at Nathan Phillip’s Square starting at 4 p.m. — see you there!
Solidarity forever! <3
